Sept 2011"We had a really good holiday and the weather was glorious. The apartment matches up to the descriptions and reviews so we were very pleased with that. You have chosen its position carefully; it gets a good deal of sunshine on the balcony from about 11.00 onwards. Ana was a treasure and was most helpful throughout. Internet access worked well.
Sao Martinho was absolutely delightful. What a wonderful spot. Could walk everywhere, a beautiful bay and beach and excellent for running, which we did quite a lot.
Very affordable to eat and drink and must be one of the very few places left in Western Europe where you do not have to count your pennies very carefully for every planned activity.
We explored a few other places; didnt go inland that much because it was very hot. The lagoons to the south were superb. It is an area well worth discovering further and we intend to do this in the future." -

Aug/Sep 2011"Our holiday was great. Very nice apartment, to our entire satisfaction, so spacious, light, tranquil, high standards and so well equipped. We also enjoyed very much the tennis court, playing almost every day.
Of course we appreciated very much your welcome package, what a great idea! We followed its recommendations every day, specially for knowing the places to eat and beaches. We also liked very much Tasca do Cais, next door to Portobello, great fish.
We will probably go back sometime, because we love Portugal and liked much that area too." -

La securite des lieux permet de donner de l'autonomie aux grands enfants. piscine et tennis tres apprecies. Nous avons aime sao Martinho et obidos mais avons ete decus par Peniche et Nazare qui a perdu bien de son charme d'autrefois. Merci a Debbie pour ses responses mails donnant les precisions voulues. "

Great apartment. The weather was not so hot as we thought (23 - 26°), but good enough for a great holiday.
And good food (Pesca no prato, restaurant was fantastic). It [a week] was too short !!"

July 2011"We were first time visitors to Portugal, but I can certainly say we look forward to returning.
There were 5 of us in the apartment, including children aged 12, 8 and 2, but there was more than enough space for us all. It was everything the descriptions & photos promised and more. It was a lovely modern, spacious apartment and had every modern convenience we could possibly want. It was clean and the local rep was very helpful on arrival and also available to help for further questions during our stay.
The owners left two very helpful information packs in the apartment, suggesting possible trips and local restaurants worth trying. We went to a number of the suggested restaurants with Portobello (fav of kids with pizzas and pasta), Miu Jardim (20 mins drive & fabulous steaks) and the Royal Marina our particular favourites.
We went on trips to the water park at Nazare (perfect for all the kids) and to the lagoon at Foz do Arelho and enjoyed going up the sand dunes. However, the stunning sandy beaches at Sao Martinho (genuinely 10 mins walk) were so good that we hardly felt the need to go anywhere. In addition, there was a lovely pool at the apartment complex so we had the best of both beach and pool holidays.
We had a fabulous time. The apartment was excellent, Sao Martinho was lovely and family friendly, food excellent and we can’t wait to go back."
